ESPN Fantasy Projection: September 2019 labrum surgery cost Moronta the entirety of the 2020 season, though all indications are that he should be healthy in time for Opening Day. In two-plus seasons before the operation, he managed a 2.66 ERA and 29.8% strikeout rate, not to mention a fastball that averaged better than 97 mph, so it's no wonder that many are looking to him as a sleeper closer for the Giants. Moronta's walk rate (13.6% career) is a scary one, and he might need to prove himself 100% before getting a true ninth-inning chance, but his manager, Gabe Kapler, loves to exploit matchups in save chances and is sure to give the right-hander a look from time to time. This is a good NL-only, cheap-saves speculative pick to get.
