News: 3 days agoGano made two of three field-goal attempts and his lone PAT during Sunday's 13-7 win over the Eagles.
Spin: Gano missed from 51 yards out wide right, but he was good from 39 and 35 yards to help the Giants defeat a divisional rival. The 34-year-old is enjoying a successful season and has gone 22-for-25 on field goals -- with two misses from 50-plus yards -- while making all 14 PATS through 11 games.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Since the start of the 2017 season, Gano has converted 74 of 78 FG attempts. That 94.9% hit rate trails only Josh Lambo for best in the NFL and, if we adjust for distance, Gano is the league's most accurate kicker during the span. Gano is coming off the best season of his lengthy career, having converted 31 of 32 field goal attempts in 2020. Despite a struggling offense that tied for last in touchdowns, Gano's 32 FG attempts were 12th most. Gano is now 34 years old, but the combination of his elite accuracy and an improved Giants offense makes him a viable starter in fantasy.
