News: 3 days agoCobb was targeted four times and caught two passes for 19 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-33 loss to the Eagles.

Spin: Cobb did not do much in the receptions or receiving yards columns, but he did reach the end zone for the first time in eight 2022 appearances. He has finished third in snaps among Packers wideouts in two games since returning from a four-game absence, but he could slip further down the depth chart if Romeo Doubs (ankle) returns in Week 13, as Green Bay could maximize the rookie's snaps with the team's playoff hopes fading fast.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: After one-year stops in Dallas and Houston, Cobb was traded back to Green Bay (his home for his first eight NFL seasons) prior to 2021. Unsurprisingly, the reunion with Aaron Rodgers didn't lead to much fantasy success. Cobb was limited to 39 targets while primarily working in a situational role. He also missed five games and hasn't played a full season since he was 25 years old back in 2015. Cobb is now entering his age-32 campaign and hasn't been a top-40 fantasy receiver since 2017. He theoretically has a path to more work with Davante Adams gone, but that seems like a long shot considering his age and durability woes, as well as the acquisitions of Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. Cobb can be avoided in all but the deepest of PPR leagues.
