News: 5 days agoDavis (knee) caught one of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Bears.

Spin: Davis was quiet in his first game action since Week 7. He'll likely ramp up his involvement in Week 13 against the Vikings and beyond, as Davis was an integral part of New York's passing game prior to getting hurt. Davis will look to build up his rapport with new quarterback Mike White, who threw two touchdown passes to Garrett Wilson and another to Elijah Moore against Chicago, showing that he's capable of elevating New York's wide receivers, which the benched Zach Wilson rarely did.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Davis is back for his second season in New York, after struggling with durability and performance in 2021. The 2017 first-round pick appeared in only nine games and he's now missed at least one game in four of five NFL seasons. Davis has also underwhelmed from a fantasy perspective, having yet to clear five TDs in a season or finish top 30 in fantasy PPG. His 10.2% drop rate was the worst at the position in 2021. Perhaps the 27-year-old will make the leap back into the flex discussion if QB Zach Wilson makes a huge second-year leap, but there's not much upside with Elijah Moore and first-round rookie Garrett Wilson in the mix. Davis belongs on benches, if not waivers.
