News: 3 days agoKamara (knee) said Thursday that he "feels great" and has "no limitations" in advance of Sunday's game at Baltimore, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Kamara made an early exit from an Aug. 18 joint practice with the Cowboys and was diagnosed with an MCL sprain that was expected to sideline him for one month. While he was inactive for the Saints' Week 1 contest in Detroit, he followed up back-to-back limited sessions with a full practice last Friday, indicating that he was closing in on a return to action. With a pair of uncapped practices so far this week, he's in line to join Travis Etienne out of the Saints backfield Sunday, and potentially without any limits on his workload.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kamara is entering his age-31 season set to play a change-of-pace role behind Travis Etienne and is unlikely to be a fantasy option. Over the past seven seasons, only two backs age 31 or older have posted a top-30 fantasy campaign, and both required 16-plus touchdowns. (Kamara hasn't cleared nine TDs since 2020 and scored once in 2025). Injuries limited Kamara to career-low marks across the board last season (including a 10% target share, considerably worse than his previous career low of 18%), and he hasn't played a full season since his rookie year (2017). A longtime fantasy star, Kamara is worth no more than a late flier.
