News: 1 day agoRobinson recorded 17 rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Dolphins. He added three receptions for 28 yards.
Spin: Robinson handled all of the carries out of the Jaguars' backfield, with Trevor Lawrence the only other player to register a rush attempt for the team. He didn't have many big gains, but he did record a 28-yard rush and also found the end zone from one yard out early in the third quarter. Robinson also chipped in as a receiver and logged multiple receptions for the first time in his last three games. Most importantly, Robinson remains a workhorse back, recording 15 or more carries in each of his last four contests.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: It's not often that an undrafted free agent posts an RB1 campaign as a rookie, but Robinson made it happen in 2020. The Illinois State product replaced Leonard Fournette as the team's feature back and went on to finish seventh among RBs in both scrimmage yards and fantasy points despite missing two games. Robinson was a factor as a rusher (sixth in carries) and receiver (10th in targets) while playing 70% of the offensive snaps. Robinson is a candidate for TD regression to the mean (10 TDs, 5.9 OTD), but with Travis Etienne out for the season, the second-year back remains positioned for a substantial offensive role. Consider Robinson a mid-range RB2.
