News: 1 day agoMoore (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Spin: The second-year pro was injured on his second snap of the Week 11 loss to San Francisco and now has been ruled out for Arizona' final game before a Week 13 bye. Greg Dortch, who replaced Moore in the slot during Monday's loss, is listed as questionable with a thumb injury, while head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he expects Marquise Brown (foot) to be activated from injured reserve. Moore's target volume could take a hit if Brown and DeAndre Hopkins both are available by the time he's healthy again.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Moore appeared in 14 games and was on the field for 37% of Arizona's snaps as a rookie last season. The second-round pick was almost exclusively limited to short-range/gadget plays, as 51% of his 65 targets were screens, 25% of his touches were carries and his 1.3 average depth of target was lowest among 91 qualified wide receivers. Moore's lack of vertical targets and goal-line work (one end zone target) severely limited his fantasy output (three top-40 outings). Moore is only 22 years old and his best days are likely ahead of him, but he may not have a path to a substantially larger role this season with DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Zach Ertz in the fold. He's not worth considering until the last few rounds of your draft.
