Spin: Nailor entered the NFL's concussion protocol after exiting Sunday's loss to the Chiefs due to the head injury. If he's unable to gain clearance to play Week 5 against the Patriots, Tre Tucker and Cody White would likely serve as the Raiders' top two receivers. Dont'e Thornton (hamstring) remains on injured reserve, but he could also be an option at wideout this Sunday after the Raiders opened 21-day practice window Wednesday.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Nailor signed with the Raiders and will battle the likes of Tre Tucker and second-year receivers Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton Jr. for a starting gig in Las Vegas' new-look offense. Nailor was a rarely used commodity during his first four NFL seasons, all with the Vikings. The 2022 sixth-round pick totaled a 69-1,066-11 receiving line and never reached 30 catches or 450 yards in a single season. In fact, he's yet to clear six targets in a game. The 27-year-old very well could lock down a starting job in Las Vegas, but he's a long shot to make the big leap to consistent fantasy output in his fifth professional season. He's no more than a late-round wild card in deep leagues.
