News: 7 days agoBech caught his sole target for five yards in Thursday night's preseason finale against the 49ers.

Spin: Bech played 20 offensive snaps in the contest, garnering attention just one time. The 2025 second-rounder is in a battle for starting wide receiver snaps. With Sunday's cutdown day rapidly approaching, the Raiders likely already know whether Bech, Dont'e Thornton, Dareke Young or Malik Benson will take on the No. 3 wide receiver role for the Week 1 matchup against the Dolphins.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bech is a candidate for a Year 2 leap after an underwhelming rookie campaign. The 2025 second-round pick was limited to 36% of Las Vegas' offensive snaps and cleared three targets in a game only twice. He failed to find the end zone while predominantly working as a short-range target. Bech will now compete with the likes of Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor and Dont'e Thornton Jr. for a starting gig in a new-look offense led by coach Klint Kubiak and, at some point, No. 1 overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza. The 23-year-old is likely headed for a larger role in his second season and is worth a late-round flier.
