News: 2 days agoBech finished without a target or touch in Sunday's 38-33 Week 8 win over the Jets.
Spin: Bech returned from a four-game absence due to a forearm injury and logged a 40 percent offensive snap share, but he didn't get any looks from QB Kirk Cousins. In fact, Cousins didn't go to his wideout corps as a whole very often -- 16 of his 26 targets went to tight ends, and another four went to running back Ashton Jeanty. Bech will look to get back into the box score Sunday in a Week 9 matchup in San Francisco.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bech is a candidate for a Year 2 leap after an underwhelming rookie campaign. The 2025 second-round pick was limited to 36% of Las Vegas' offensive snaps and cleared three targets in a game only twice. He failed to find the end zone while predominantly working as a short-range target. Bech will now compete with the likes of Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor and Dont'e Thornton Jr. for a starting gig in a new-look offense led by coach Klint Kubiak and, at some point, No. 1 overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza. The 23-year-old is likely headed for a larger role in his second season and is worth a late-round flier.
