News: 2 days agoThe Saints waived Moreno-Cropper on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Spin: Moreno-Cropper signed with the Saints in mid-June. The wide receiver was competing for a special-teams role and could not do quite enough to earn the nod over other receivers such as Barion Brown. Moreno-Cropper will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed will become a free agent able to sign with any team.
