Spin: Wicks didn't log a particularly high volume of targets, but he nonetheless put up a nice fantasy score thanks to a 64-yard connection with Jalen Hurts late in the first quarter and a nine-yard TD catch in the second. Hurts spread the ball around pretty evenly, hooking up with six different pass catchers, none of whom logged more than four receptions. It could play into Wicks' favor if the Eagles' new offense encourages Hurts to spread the ball around, though all of DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon and tight end Dallas Goedert figure to need to be fed in addition to Wicks.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Wicks was traded to the Eagles after spending his first three NFL seasons in Green Bay. The 2023 fifth-round pick was limited to situational work during his Packers tenure, never finishing a season among the top 50 receivers in snaps, routes, targets, catches or yards. Wicks flashed at times (exactly one game of 24-plus points in each season), but otherwise scored 5.3 PPG. Even after the Eagles traded A.J. Brown, Wicks' path to targets may not be any easier in Philly. DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley are all assured substantial roles, with first-round rookie Makai Lemon and Hollywood Brown also very much in the mix. Wicks, 25, will need to win the team's No. 2 receiver gig in order to have any shot at weekly flex consideration. He's barely worth late-round consideration in deep leagues.
