News: 6 days agoMoore caught five of six targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Chargers.

Spin: The Chiefs entered Week 11 already down JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Mecole Hardman (abdomen), and they lost Kadarius Toney (hamstring) before halftime Sunday. The team's injury misfortune opened up an opportunity for Moore to put his skills on display. The rookie wideout did just that, setting new career highs in receptions (five) and receiving yards (63). It is currently unclear if Kansas City's receiver room will get any healthier next week, so the 22-year-old could find himself starting opposite Marquez Valdes-Scantling against the Rams next Sunday. If that scenario were to unfold, Moore could be a sneaky play in Week 12, especially if shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey is tasked with covering the more-proven MVS.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Moore was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of April's draft. Moore soaked up a massive 32% of the targets during 30 games (three seasons) at Western Michigan. He was utilized both inside and out (39% career slot rate) and showed strong efficiency (his career 90% adjusted catch rate and 2.9 YPRR are both second best in this year's rookie class) and elite hands (four drops on 256 career targets). Moore is on the small side, but he has the biggest hands in this class and showed well athletically at the combine. Moore has a shot at a sizable rookie-season role if he can overtake the likes of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman and/or Marquez Valdes-Scantling for work. One of Patrick Mahomes' top targets if he progresses well, Moore needs to be on your mid-round radar.
