News: 19 hours agoBrosmer (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Vikings' emergency third quarterback against the Dolphins on Sunday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Spin: Brosmer was signed to the 53-man roster Tuesday after the Vikings traded J.J. McCarthy to the Giants a day earlier. As the emergency third quarterback, Brosmer is not allowed to play Sunday unless both Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz are taken out of the game due to injury, illness or ejection.
