News: 2 days agoDaniels (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Thursday's matchup versus San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Spin: Daniels was able to make the Rams' 53-man roster with a strong showing during the preseason, but he isn't high enough in the pecking order at this point to be active on gameday. Los Angeles will roll with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith as its WR corps Thursday.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Daniels was selected by the Rams in the sixth round of April's draft. It helped that he played in 68 games across six seasons at Liberty, LSU and Miami, but Daniels ranked third in this WR rookie class in receiving yards (2,991) and second in TD receptions (28) for his career. His overall efficiency was good, though he failed to emerge as anything more than a secondary target once he left Liberty. Daniels will battle for a roster spot and is no more than a dynasty stash.
