News: 20 hours agoDunn (upper body) skated in the afternoon session of the Kraken's practice Thursday, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports.
Spin: The 24-year-old blueliner missed the last 11 games of the regular season and all four of the Blues' playoff contests with the injury. Dunn appears to be fully fit at the start of training camp. He'll have the chance to win a significant top-four role in training camp, and it's expected the Ontario native will also feature on the Kraken's power play.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Dunn was on the trade block for an extended period, but he made it through the whole season with the Blues before being selected by the Kraken in the expansion draft. Dunn is seemingly a player with untapped potential. He posted 12 goals and 35 points as recently as the 2018-19 campaign and has finished with no fewer than seven power-play points in each of his first four NHL seasons. Dunn signed a two-year, $4 million contract with Seattle as a restricted free agent this summer and is slated to share power-play duty with veteran Mark Giordano as the Kraken prepare for their maiden voyage. Dunn should be worth a fantasy pick in most formats.
