ESPN Fantasy Projection: Seemingly on the trade block for years, Chychrun was finally traded from Arizona to Ottawa in early March. He missed the first five weeks of the season with a wrist injury, was benched another three weeks just prior to the trade for "asset protection" and then suffered a hamstring injury which cost him the Senators' final ten regular-season games. All told, Chychrun appeared in just 48 contests, posting nine goals and 33 points. This came on the heels of a 2021-22 campaign in which he played in just 47 games. Chychrun is an easy mid-round fantasy option from a pure talent perspective, but he's constantly banged up and there's no guarantee he'll be on Ottawa's top power-play unit this year with Thomas Chabot also in the mix. The upside here is significant, but the floor is downright scary.
