ESPN Fantasy Projection: With a glut of young talented forwards on the roster, the Sharks dealt Eklund to Ottawa in June. The Swede finished his final season in San Jose with 15 goals and 53 points in 78 games, numbers right in line with the prior two years. Eklund's minus-31 rating was sixth-worst in the NHL, but that figures to improve with his new club. With Brady Tkachuk off to Florida, the Senators have a massive void in their top-six, which Eklund will be expected to help fill. He's posted exactly 16 power-play points in three straight years and that number should only rise in 2026-27. Set to turn 24 years old in October, Eklund looks like a sneaky mid-round upside play from a fantasy standpoint.
