ESPN Fantasy Projection: Buoyed by a 10.8 percent shooting percentage, the highest of his 15-year NHL career by a mile, Faulk finished ninth in goals scored amongst defensemen last season with 16. He added 24 assists, 148 shots on goal, nine power-play points, and 132 blocked shots in 78 games split between St. Louis and Detroit. There's zero reason to expect a repeat performance. Not only will Faulk's shooting percentage almost certainly revert to the mean, but his time with the man advantage will be severely limited as long as Moritz Seider is around to serve as Detroit's No. 1 rearguard. Don't pay for past production here.
