Rayo v Real Sociedad
Rayo Vallecano 2-2 Real Sociedad
Rayo Vallecano remain in the relegation zone after twice losing the lead to draw 2-2 at home to Real Sociedad.Diego Llorente gave the hosts an early lead which was cancelled out later in the half by Aritz Elustondo, while Jozabed restored Rayo's advantage shortly after the break, only for Bruma to level for Eusebio Sacristan's side.Rayo go 18th in the Primera Division table after picking up their first point in six games, while Real Sociedad are just two points above them with Eusebio having a limited impact in the two months since he succeeded David Moyes, winning just two matches out of seven. The first half was a story of two set-pieces.Rayo took the lead after a quarter of an hour when Roberto Trashorras sent in an outswinging corner and Llorente rose to head the ball into the bottom corner. La Real hit back with a softly conceded free-kick from Rayo's point of view and some sloppy goalkeeping from Yoel Rodriguez, who failed to claim Ruben Pardo's cross and Elustondo got there first to head home.Rayo got themselves back in front when the visitors failed to deal with a hopeful ball into the box and Jozabed pounced to produce a quality finish. But the Basques again made the most of a set-piece to draw level, Bruma losing his marker at the far post to volley home another fine delivery from Pardo. ends
