Las Palmas v Granada
Las Palmas 5-1 Granada
Nabil El Zhar scored twice as Las Palmas made it back-to-back LaLiga victories with a 5-1 thrashing of Granada. The French winger buried the ball in the bottom left corner to open the scoring at Estadio Gran Canaria, but the hosts levelled on the stroke of half-time through Jeremie Boga.Kevin-Prince Boateng restored the hosts' lead with a goal on his home debut before El Zhar and substitutes Momo and Sergio Araujo sealed the win.Ezequiel Ponce, the scorer of Granada's equaliser in their draw with Villarreal last Saturday, squandered a chance to make it two goals in two games when he directed a powerful header off target before El Zhar put the hosts ahead with 24 minutes played. The home side were unable to take the lead into the break, though, as French midfielder Boga, on loan from Chelsea, fired into the bottom left corner from the edge of the box after collecting Sergi Samper's pass in the final minute of the half.Ghana international Boateng, who also scored in last weekend's 4-2 win at Valencia, headed home to put Los Amarillos back in front six minutes after the restart, but the midfielder was then forced off through injury.Former Liverpool man El Zhar lifted the ball over on-rushing goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa to claim his second in the 69th minute before experienced winger Momo, who replaced Boateng, tapped in the fourth three minutes later.Granada's miserable afternoon was complete five minutes from time when Argentinian forward Araujo found the bottom left corner from close range.ends
