ESPN Fantasy Projection: Dickerson was on the IL a week into the season due to a shoulder strain. That set the tone for his entire 2019; Dickerson also missed time with groin and finger injuries before a fractured left foot sidelined him for good. In between, Dickerson was excellent, hitting .300 for the fourth time in his career -- the second time not playing home games of Coors Field -- with his highest ISO ever. His strikeout rate ticked up, but 20.1% is still quite good in this era. Given all the missed time last season, it's easy to forget about Dickerson and how consistently good he's been with the bat. Previously, injuries had not been a major problem, with Dickerson logging at least 533 PA in each of the three seasons prior to 2019, so he's arguably not much more of an injury risk than any other position player. After signing a two-year deal with the Marlins, Dickerson is slated to play every day.
