ESPN Fantasy Projection: Eaton was a wonderful table-setter for the world champions, using his plate discipline and ability to get on base to have a career-best season. "Spanky" has long had the on-base chops, but he missed significant time in 2017 and 2018 with major injuries. Last season was the perfect storm, as he had the most playing time in four seasons, hit first or second in a potent lineup nearly all season and set career highs in home runs and runs scored. We saw him do this in back-to-back seasons with the White Sox in 2015 and 2016, so 2019 looks more like him reestablishing his abilities rather than a new level of performance. The key now is for him to avoid a major injury and put together two seasons of health. The RBIs may never be there, but the rest of the production is solid.
