News: 7 days agoZuerlein converted his only field-goal attempt and six of seven extra points in Saturday's win over the Eagles.
Spin: The veteran kicker saw more than enough volume to still have a productive week from a fantasy perspective, but he still missed a kick for the third time in the last four weeks. Zuerlein wraps up the regular season having gone 29-for-35 on FGs (82.9 percent) and 42-for-48 on PATs (87.5 percent), leaving him 12th in the league in total scoring with 129 points, but his inconsistency is a concern for the Cowboys heading into the playoffs.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: "Greg the Leg" has finished as a top-12 fantasy kicker each of the past four seasons, which includes the top spot in 2017 and a fifth-place finish in 2020, his first with Dallas. Zuerlein made "only" 82.9% of his FG attempts (34 of 41) last season, but that's a bit misleading, as six of the seven misses were on tries from 50-plus yards away (an area he's generally been good). The 41 attempts were also most in the NFL last season. Zuerlein's accuracy has been all over the map throughout his career, but he's set up nicely as the kicker in a loaded and high-volume offense in Dallas. The 33-year-old is a fine fantasy starter.
