Spin: With Puka Nacua (hip) inactive, Adams entered the contest projected for an elevated workload, but the veteran wideout exceeded expectations in a spectacular primetime showing. Adams set the tone for a dominant performance early via a 31-yard touchdown reception over the middle late in the first quarter. He'd go on to add an 11-yard scoring grab just past the midway point of the third quarter, and Adams' reception, receiving yardage and target totals all comfortably paced the Rams on the night. The breakout effort was in stark contrast to Adams' quiet three-catch Week 1 tally, but he draws a tough Week 3 assignment on the road against the Broncos on Sunday night, one where he could garner plenty of Patrick Surtain's attention if Nacua remains sidelined.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Adams' first season in Los Angeles was a success, as the veteran led the wide receiver position in touchdowns for the third time in the past six seasons. His 27 end zone targets were nine more than any other player and he now sits second in that category (148) and in TDs from scrimmage (117) since entering the league in 2014. Adams' ninth-place finish in fantasy PPG marked his ninth top-10 in his past 10 seasons. Now 33 years old, he isn't targeted as much as in years past (24% target share in 2025 was his lowest since 2016), but he's the clear No. 2 behind Puka Nacua in the Rams' elite, Matthew Stafford-led offense. Adams' heavy usage near the goal line helps cement him as a fine fantasy WR2.
