ESPN Fantasy Projection: Mariota returns to Las Vegas as Derek Carr's primary backup. Mariota was limited to one appearance in 2020 and showed well with 226 passing yards, 88 rushing yards and a pair of TDs in a Week 15 game against the Chargers. Of course, prior to that, the 2015 second-overall pick struggled during five seasons in Tennessee. The Oregon product has been effective with his legs throughout his career (251-1487-12 career rushing line), but that has yet to translate to a top-12 fantasy campaign (he's finished better than 18th once). Mariota will leap into the QB2 discussion if called on to replace the underrated Carr, but the 27-year-old is well off the fantasy radar in the meantime.
