Fantasy Football
News: 1 day agoSwift rushed nine times for 43 yards and a touchdown and brought in four of five targets for 30 yards in the Bears' 31-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Spin: With Kyle Monangai (toe) inactive, Swift had the clear-cut lead role in the Bears' ground attack Sunday, but game script progressively worked against him. The veteran back was able to somewhat salvage his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown run just inside the two-minute warning in the first half, his first score since his three-TD day in Week 1 against the Panthers. Swift also posted his second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals of the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll get another game without Monangai when the Bears visit the Falcons next Sunday.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Swift is entering his seventh NFL season and third with Chicago. The veteran back was busy as both a rusher and receiver en route to clearing 1,300 scrimmage yards in each of his first two seasons with the Bears. Though he found the end zone 10 times and finished 17th among backs in fantasy points per game last season, Swift deferred substantial work to Kyle Monangai and is likely to be in even more of a timeshare in 2026. Still in his prime at age 27, Swift continues to play at a high level (4.87 yards per carry last season), but his role in the Chicago offense figures to limit him to low-ceiling RB2/flex production.
