News: 5 days agoKacmarek (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's battle against the Patriots, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Spin: Kacmarek dealt with a hamstring injury this week and logged limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. However, he was able to upgrade to a full session Friday and thus has been cleared to play Sunday. Kacmarek should serve in his usual role as the No. 2 tight end who focuses primarily on blocking.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kacmarek was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of April's draft. Kacmarek is a massive, strong blocking tight end who won't see much receiving work in the pros. He's likely to play a lot of snap as a rookie considering Miami's shaky roster, but Greg Dulcich is expected to operate as the team's top pass-catcher at the tight end position. Kacmarek is no more than the deepest of deep sleepers.
