News: 3 days agoKacmarek failed to haul in his only target during Miami's loss to the Raiders on Sunday.
Spin: Kacmarek was in the team's starting lineup for his regular-season debut but ended up seeing limited action, playing just 14 of the 56 offensive snaps in addition to six snaps on special teams. While the 23-year-old primarily functions as a blocker, he could still see an increased role during the Week 2 matchup against the 49ers.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kacmarek was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of April's draft. Kacmarek is a massive, strong blocking tight end who won't see much receiving work in the pros. He's likely to play a lot of snap as a rookie considering Miami's shaky roster, but Greg Dulcich is expected to operate as the team's top pass-catcher at the tight end position. Kacmarek is no more than the deepest of deep sleepers.
