News: 1 day agoKacmarek played 29 offensive snaps and five special-teams snaps but did not appear in the box score in the Dolphins' 28-25 win over the Jets on Sunday.
Spin: Kacmarek played 45 percent of the Dolphins' offensive snaps. The No. 2 tight end's blocking role was in stark contrast to position mate Greg Dulcich's team-leading target share, and the two players are expected to continue filling similar roles for the foreseeable future.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kacmarek was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of April's draft. Kacmarek is a massive, strong blocking tight end who won't see much receiving work in the pros. He's likely to play a lot of snap as a rookie considering Miami's shaky roster, but Greg Dulcich is expected to operate as the team's top pass-catcher at the tight end position. Kacmarek is no more than the deepest of deep sleepers.
