ESPN Fantasy Projection: Danault's goal total was way down (18 in 82 games) last season compared to 2021-22 (27 in 79 games), but his assist numbers were way up, and the result was a new career-best 54 points. Danault averaged nearly the exact same amount of power-play time per game (2:04) in 2022-23 as the previous year (2:03), but his production with the man advantage increased from a measly four points two campaigns ago to 20 last season. The acquisition of Pierre-Luc Dubois from the Jets this summer means Danault will likely serve as LA's No. 3 center in 2023-24, which will lengthen the Kings' lineup considerably, even if it means Danault will probably see his offensive output dip a bit.
