Spin: After an awful 2020-21, Hart appears fully healthy heading into this season. He went 9-11-5 with a 3.67 GAA and an .877 save percentage in 27 games last year, but his save percentage wasn't lower than .914 in his first two campaigns. The 23-year-old is locked in as the Flyers' No. 1 goalie, with Martin Jones providing experience as a veteran backup.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Hart seemed to be on his way to stardom with a 2.59 GAA and .915 save percentage in 74 appearances over his first two seasons, but goalies at the NHL level can sometimes unravel -- especially in Philadelphia. The 23-year-old goalie found that out with a disastrous 2020-21 campaign by posting a 9-11-5 record, 3.67 GAA and .877 save percentage. Philadelphia changed much of its defensive personnel in the offseason, but Hart’s poor performance last season is as much his own fault as it was the team in front of him. It’s possible he'll regain his confidence and get back to being one of the league’s most exciting young goalies, but Hart’s fantasy floor is low at the moment due to his recent struggles and the fast his 2020-21 campaign was cut short by a sprained MCL.
