Fantasy Hockey
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Seeking to cash in as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career, Killorn got paid in a major way, signing a four-year, $25 million deal with the Ducks on July 1. The massive contract comes on the heels of a season in which Killorn played in all 82 games for Tampa Bay for a second straight year, posting career-best marks in goals (27), assists (37) and points (64) while finishing with a dozen power-play points for the third time in four years. From a fantasy perspective, managers need to look no further than Ryan Strome for a cautionary tale in terms of how this could turn out. Strome joined Anaheim last season after three productive years with the Rangers, managing just 41 points along with a horrific minus-30 rating. There's far more risk than reward here with Killorn.
