PHOENIX -- Kara Lawson scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Connecticut Sun to a 100-78 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday night.

DeWanna Bonner had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Mercury (7-22).

The Sun opened the third quarter with seven consecutive points.
