PHOENIX -- Kelsey Bone scored a career-high 27 points and matched a personal best with 14 rebounds, and the Connecticut Sun beat Phoenix 90-78 in double-overtime Friday night, snapping the Mercury's 22-game home winning streak.
The Sun (5-1) have won five straight since losing its season opener against Washington, and are 3-0 on the road.
Bone hit a jumper and Chelsea Gray followed with a 3-pointer to spark a 12-0 run in the second overtime to seal it. Bone picked up her second straight double-double and seventh of her career. Alex Bentley scored 19 points, Alyssa Thomas 15 and Gray chipped in 10 for the Sun.
DeWanna Bonner scored 21 points to lead Phoenix (2-3). Bonner made a driving, underhanded layup at the buzzer to force the first overtime.
Candice Dupree scored 18 and Monique Currie added 11 for the Mercury, who last lost at home May 23 to San Antonio, 78-74.
