ESPN Fantasy Projection: Barrie didn't have a very good season considering he's an offense-first defenseman who plays with two of the best players in the world in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. He finished with 41 points in 73 games, but Barrie's 2:51 with the man advantage was down 39 seconds from a year prior, while his overall ice time was down well over two minutes to 18:58. Barrie has never been an asset in his own zone, so if he continues to lose power-play time to youngster Evan Bouchard, his fantasy value will likely crater as a result. The upside is still there, but Barrie's floor is shaky at the moment.
