ESPN Fantasy Projection: It seems like Cervelli's career concussions are catching up to his career homers, as the veteran catcher was sidelined with the malady again last season. However, doctors deemed it safe for Cervelli to continue squatting behind the dish. He began the season with the Pirates before getting concussed in May. Many thought Cervelli would retire after getting let go in August, but Cervelli and the Braves had other plans. The 33-year-old receiver finished the season with Atlanta but was released after the playoffs. Cervelli signed with the Marlins, with whom he'll back up Jorge Alfaro. Coming off a .213/.302/.348 season, there are better fantasy options, not even considering his health risk.
