Jason Sehorn, a former NFL player and football analyst, guest stars on Monday's 8:30 p.m. episode of "Kickin' It" on Disney XD.
"I did my best Michael Buffer impression," said Sehorn, who played nine years in the NFL, mostly with the New York Giants. "I had a good time because I got to act like a clown."
"Kickin' It" is a martial arts-inspired comedy about a karate instructor and his wacky students. Monday's episode is called 'Rowdy Rudy" about a confrontation with a professional wrestler that thrusts the main characters into action.
Sehorn jumped at the chance to take part in the show.
"I have three daughters so we watch Disney all day in my house," said the 40-year-old Sehorn, who is married to actress Angie Harmon and has children 3 years old to 8. "Look, I'm not an actor. I've seen what my wife goes through. But this was fun for a day and it was a small part."
Although Sehorn does some occasional broadcasting and had some bit parts in TV shows, he doesn't have any plans to make a career out of it.
"It blows my mind that my wife takes eight days to do a one-hour drama. That is insane. That's not for me," Sehorn said. "There is no way I could go into this business while she's in it. We'd have nobody to raise our daughters!"
Sehorn does have some advice for new New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow, who had his news conference on Monday.
"I think being single in New York won't be so difficult for him. But when he gets married and have kids, I'm not sure that's the right environment to raise a family," Sehorn said. "I learned so much there, especially when it came to the media. "When you are asked a question, just give an answer. Stand up and be a man about it. And then move on. If you try to cover up things, that's when you get in trouble."
