With all the New Orleans hype over the phrase "Who Dat," country band Williams Riley has come up with a Bayou battle cry: "The Who Dat Roll."

Travis Thibodaux, drummer for Williams Riley, penned the song with his father, Gary Paul, and friend Shea Michaels after being inspired when the Saints improved to 11-0 earlier this season. Born and raised in Raceland, La., Thibodaux and his father have been writing and recording together since Travis was 12.

I chased down Steve Williams, lead singer of the band, to talk about the track.

Page 2: Why do you think this year's team is so special?

Williams: There just seemed to be something magical about this year's team. I mean the way they won 13 straight games before losing and the way there just seemed to be some magical intervention in some of the games as though a higher power was calling the plays.

What made Travis write this song?

After hearing all of the less than desirable new "Saints" songs popping up on the radio everyday, our drummer Travis' father basically threatened to hurt him very badly if he did not write a better song (he laughs) so together along with one other friend of the family, they decided to write this song. Then when Travis called and told me about it, I honestly begged him not to send it to me because I just couldn't stand to hear yet another really bad song, but I'm so glad he did because this is a great song.

What's been the reaction?

I know that the Saints' organization heard the song, and they claimed to really like it but I know they get bombarded with songs like these so I'm sure it got lost in the shuffle. As for the public, the song really seemed to get an unbelievable reaction. Radio stations around the state of Louisiana are spinning it, and I'm told it's gets a great response.

Who's going to win Sunday?

Well, of course, we're picking the Saints to win it all, but I honestly believe that there is a higher power calling the plays this year and as great as Peyton is, he may not be able to outscore this play caller.
