Landon Powell, the A's catcher who worked the plate for Dallas Braden's perfect game, joined KNBR in San Francisco to talk about catching the 19th perfect game in MLB history, his special relationship with Braden since the two were drafted in '04, what items he took home with him to help commemorate the unique experience and more.

On what he took from the game to remember the perfect game:

"In the eighth inning, B.J. Upton struck out and I kept the ball, ran to the dugout and put it in my bag just in case he got those last three outs. And of course he did. So I got that ball and Braden signed it, and we both wrote on it that 'We Were Perfect.' And I got the game jersey, and the MLB authenticator was there, so he authenticated all our stuff so it would go down in the history books. I got my jersey and we both signed that, I got my game hat and my glove, I've been using that glove for quite some time now, it's kind of my baby, but I think I'm going to retire it after that game. I don't think it could do any better than it did yesterday, so I think I'm going to retire the glove. So those are the things I'll take home and give to my kids, and hopefully keep them in the family for a long time."
