Romania flanker Valentin Ursache has been banned for one week for a dangerous tackle during the Oaks' opening Rugby World Cup defeat against France.
Ursache, 30, will miss Sunday's game against Ireland, having originally been named in Lynn Howells' starting XV. Viorel Lucaci will take Ursache's place at blind-side.
While worthy of a citation, Ursache's offence was deemed to be a minor offence and, taking into account his excellent previous disciplinary record and the absence of aggravating factors, the typical two-week suspension was cut to one.
Ursache has 48 hours in which to appeal, but will not be eligible to play before September 28.
