Namibia players Malcolm Moore and Carel Swanpoel have been hit with six-month suspensions for anti-doping offences.
The duo underwent tests on June 15, 2013, following their match against Tunisia in Senegal and both samples contained methylhexaneamine (MHA), a substance banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The IRB announced "the players accepted that they had committed anti-doping rule violations". The duo had been provisionally banned since July 19 and will be out until January 18, 2014.
"The IRB operates a zero-tolerance policy on doping," a spokesperson for the IRB said. "Players are solely responsible for any prohibited substance found in their body. This decision sends a clear message to all players on the risks of taking a banned substance."
