Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Andre Roberson has a high opinion of himself regarding his skills on defense. From Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman:

"Roberson made a bit of a bold statement before heading off for summer vacation. He delivered it with the utmost conviction and the ultimate confidence. 'I see myself as possibly being the best defender in this league if I put my mind to it,' he said. If your first instinct is to laugh, you might first consider Roberson’s chances of someday doing it. Possibly even someday soon. In just his second season, Roberson quietly made tremendous strides toward turning that bold statement into an undeniable reality. His production proved as much. ... Over the summer, Roberson said he plans to focus on understanding defensive coverages more, learning opposing player better and things he can do to be more effective on that end."
