Longtime Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia has been selected to receive an Award of Excellence under a program the Pro Football Hall of Fame launched in 2022 to recognize significant contributors to the game. Scarnecchia is one of 17 that have been identified as those who have "propelled the success of individual teams and the sport of professional football." The Hall will host recipients at an evening reception June 28 and awards luncheon June 29.
