For the second season in a row, the men from Munster come up to Stormont and end up taking the points home with them. At 120 for five, the Reds could have crumbled, but Gareth Delany and Matt Ford came together to steady the innings, and then started to attack. Delany fell when he was looking good, but Ford batted on and on 71* You'll not be surprised to know that Matt Ford has just been announced as player of the match. The Knights bowlers couldn't build on those early wickets, although it did seem strange that after taking his third wicket, that Pretorius was taken off and not seen again until the 48th and last over. Dropped chances will haunt them too, a story of what might have been I guess.... The Reds join the Lightning at the top of the table, which is great as next Tuesday, they play against each other down in Dublin, I'm sure that's a game your not going to want to miss
Thanks for following along with my commentary today, I hope you'll join me next Tuesday, this is Justin Smyth signing off from Stormont. Good night!
