5.15pm Right, then. Bangladesh have taken the lead in this series, after registering their first home Test win over Pakistan. The action will continue in Sylhet, where Bangladesh will look to seal the series and Pakistan will look to bounce back. That's all from us at ESPNcricinfo today, thank you and goodbye.
5.05pm Time for the presentation ceremony.
And the Player of the Match is Najmul Hossain Shanto. Here's what the Bangladesh skipper has to say: "Very happy. Proud of all the guys, the way we played. We have been working hard the last few months. Really happy the way we played. Great experience and feeling very proud the way we played. Slowly we are getting better at Test cricket and that's one thing we have always wanted to do. [On the toss] We had a plan that we wanted to bat first. I think we have a quality bowling attack and we wanted to bat first because of the preparation in the last few months. That was the plan. Why we declared is because we have a quality bowling attack and in these conditions Rana, Taskin, Taijul bowled really well and that's what I want for them. I always think about what the team needs and contribute in every match. [On the surface] In the first innings, the first few hours were challenging. I think Mominul bhai batted brilliantly. There was extra bounce but we played good shots. Especially Mominul bhai and Mushfiqur bhai batted really well. Today we'll enjoy ourselves and then we'll have to assess conditions in Sylhet and plan for how to play there."
Shan Masood: "[On the toss decision] Hindsight is 20/20. We looked at the conditions and in terms of seam bowling we had the best conditions. We got two early wickets. But in the first innings we didn't capitalise on that and then we didn't capitalise with the bat either. We could have pushed for more runs. But in the first innings, with bat and ball, we needed to do better. You can never question the effort, especially when you are playing Test cricket after six months. Test cricket on surfaces like this teaches you that when you have the game in your hands you have to push the opposition away, but we failed to do that. [The debutants] Extremely pleased. When we picked them, we picked them seeing potential that they can play at this level. Their maturity was great. For them, the thing is can they be consistent in Test cricket? I think they have the potential to do that. When you get opportunities to stamp your authority we have to do that."
Anver Azeez: "RANA beat RAIN !!"
Saikat : "Rana you beauty!!!! A very well deserved 5 wicket haul.."
4.52pm Well what a stunning session of play by the home side, and one led by the youngest member of the squad - Nahid Rana. He finishes with figures of 5 for 40, as he ran through the Pakistan lower order, including the two crucial wickets of Saud Shakeel and Mohammed Rizwan. The session though had begun poorly in any case, when Pakistan lost the set Abdullah Fazal, but Shakeel and Rizwan had been obdurate in hanging out - that was until Rana. Once that stand was broken, the rest were a formality as Bangladesh secured a deserved win.

AA: "one of the main difference between the two sides is their batting ability to add lower order runs and wrapping up the tail quickly. This difference is on display once again"
