That's all from today's Women's Hundred action. Thank you for tuning in and following along with us! This is Rashad Mahbub signing off on behalf of Thilak Ramamurthy and Ranjith P. Goodnight and goodbye!
Player of the Match, Sophia Dunkley: "I think it was great to get the win. Top of the table now, which is also great. Kim bowled beautifully to pick up four, but yeah, just really good to get the points. [Brilliant form with the bat] I don't really know to be honest, but I'm just trying to go out there, play with freedom, and enjoy myself. We've got such a good batting lineup, which gives us that freedom at the top of the order. So yeah, it's given us a lot of belief, and it's just nice to play. [Overtaken NSB as the highest run scorer in the Women's Hundred] No, I haven't mentioned it to her! I think we've just been great with the bat overall. Luff has been brilliant in the middle order, the aggression is really good, and our bowling has been really tight."
5:35 pm Four wins in a row for the Trent Rockets Women! It was a cautious start for the team in form, reaching 24/1 in the powerplay after Mooney gifted her wicket off a friendly full toss from Smith. Dunkley then carried on her red-hot form, striking the ball cleanly all around the park. Nat Sciver-Brunt joined the party to keep the scoreboard ticking through smooth strike rotation and timely boundaries - making it look easy for the women in yellow. Dunkley brought up her fifty off just 26 balls, bringing up the milestone by launching King over long off for a big six. The 62-run stand finally came to an end when NSB sliced a square cut straight to backward point, departing for a quickfire 24 off 14. Filer then struck in the very next over, removing Rockets' skipper Gardner for a duck to inject some life back into the contest. But Dunkley continued her batting masterclass, steering the chase without breaking a sweat before eventually falling for a brilliant 65 off 37, caught at deep midwicket. With pressure briefly building after Dunkley's departure, Luff took charge by dispatching Capsey for back to back boundaries in her second over to virtually seal the game. Luff remained unbeaten on 19 off 13, leaving Heath to strike the winning boundary and take the Rockets over the line.
