8.5 goes a mile up, and taken brilliantly by Voll at long on! Full outside off and this is there to be hit. Lee goes after it too but does not time it as well as she would have liked. A little more height than distance and Voll performs a perfect balancing act on the fence, completing a tough overhead catch with minimal fuss. Big wicket for the Welsh Fire! 54/2

4.1 Graham among the wickets straightaway! Shortish on middle and off, and this seems to stick in the surface. Bouchier looks to flat-bat it downtown but miscues it completely. A tame chip in the end and Arlott, moving to her left at mid on, does the rest. Bouchier, starved of the strike, has to walk back, and the Fire are on the board! 28/1

9.5 sliced, and Rodrigues perishes too! Fizzed through on a length just outside off. Angles in and then grips a little to straighten. Holds too and Rodrigues, swinging for the hills, gets it all wrong. Off the outer half of the blade and Graham makes no mistake at backward point. Welsh Fire keep chipping away! 58/3

15.2 brilliant by Southby this time! Zipped through on a length just outside off. Molineux charges down and looks to go inside-out. Swishes only at thin air and Southby whips off the bails in a flash. Superb work behind the stumps, and Molineux, who was playing a handy cameo, has to depart! 95/4

17.2 run out by a fair distance! Slower, fuller and wider outside off. Grewcock advances, drives it to mid off and sets off for a non-existent single. Devine is sharp off her mark, and picks the ball up cleanly. She then throws down the stumps in the same motion, and Grewcock is barely in the frame! 110/5

18.5 skied and taken! Back of a length outside off. Wong hares down the track and then swings at it wildly. No shape whatsoever on the stroke and the ball goes straight up, only to be snared comfortably by Smale at short third. Devine on the board too! 118/6

19.1 Graham has another! Back of a length, in and around off. Glenn throws the lot at it, trying to carve it over the off-side ring. Slices it too much, though, and another fairly regulation catch for Smale at short third. Graham having a day out in the Southampton sun! 118/7

16.4 straight down long on's throat, and Voll has given the Southern Brave an opening! Tossed up a little and Voll's eyes light up. She thinks she can slam this over long on but fails to get the requisite elevation. Could not have picked out Bouchier better even if she tried, and this time, Bouchier makes no mistake. 1.1 and Molineux gets a wicket straightaway! Pushed in on a back of a length just outside off. Comes in devilishly with the angle and McCaughan has no clue about it. Too late to bring her bat down and the ball sneaks past the inside edge to rattle into the stumps! 5/1

11.4 a run-out chance, and Rodrigues nails the direct hit! Shortish outside off. Voll hops back and slaps it towards extra cover. Excellent work by Rodrigues to get a hand to it. The ball rolls away and that prompts Kemp to charge for the run. Rodrigues, though, is sharp enough to recover and then throw down the stumps at the batter's end. A moment of magic by Rodrigues, and Kemp has to walk back! 80/2

13.2 nicked and gone, and captain gets captain! Half-tracker outside off and this ought to have been smashed into the fence. Devine shapes for the cut but the ball seems to come onto her a tad slower than she expects. All she manages is a feather, and the Brave are right back into this game now! 87/3

17.2 and now Wareham departs! The Fire making heavy weather of this chase! Slower ball on a back of a length on off. Plenty of over-spin on this and the ball seems to kick up. Wareham swipes at it and splices it to mid off. Fire five down, and under a bit of pressure now! 111/5

19.2 leg stump knocked back, and that should be that for the Welsh Fire! This is brave and beautiful bowling. Tossed up on a length just outside leg. Graham backs away, trying to go downtown. The ball, though, dips on her late and then grips. Spins away enough to beat the bat and thud into the top of leg stump! 115/8

17.4 Bell has another, and this game is turning! Seems like a change-up, pitching on a length outside off. Cuts in after hitting the surface and Arlott, walking down the track and mowing across the line, is beaten all ends up. Off stump knocked back, and the Welsh Fire are imploding! 111/6

18.5 wicket number three for Molineux, and the Brave can sense a win now! Looped up on middle and leg. Holland advances, takes it on the full but fails to do anything substantial with it. A gentle chip to Bell at mid off, and the Welsh Fire are now seven down, and staring down the barrel! 114/7
