So there wont be any super-over and both the teams share a point each. The game was in Malaysia's grasp for a long time, after the rain delay they just couldn't find the boundaries when needed. Though Kingma defended 6 in the last over, it was some ordinary bowling all around. Too many extras yet again. On the brighter side slower balls was the key to the whole innings for Netherlands. They asked Malaysian batters to generate power which they found it difficult.
The surface was not so easy to bat on especially after the rain but Malaysia could have bagged 2 points and keep the table open if they had batted sensibly. Which means now Nepal will take on Neatherlands in the final on Saturday and tomorrows game will be a dead rubber. Nepal would fancy to make some changes to their and give opportunities to the other members of the squad.
Sebastiaan Braat is the player of the match. That is it from here, do catch us in action tomorrow. Until then Au revoir!
