7.25pm Only the fifth day of the IPL and another close game. Once Samson and Smith fell for RR, things were looking bleak for them with a RRR approaching 12. Rahane was there till the 15th over but he wasn't quite smashing them around. Who was smashing them around - it was Doopak Hooda, 54 off 25 and he demolished Unadkat. Tahir was doing it too for Delhi, got four wickets with three googlies and a long hop. And just when Delhi would have thought they had the match with Faulkner's wicket, Tipo Morris and Sixer Southee did it in the last over.

Tahir: Nice to get the purple cap. Good game of cricket and RR played well and deserved to win. Every wicket I take is a great honour

Steven Smith: The way the boys played at the back end was terrific. Hooda showed his class with that opportunity. Morris and James joined in at the end and finished it well. We've got a great young bunch and it's our philosophy at the Royals to develop them. Nice to take two points to the next game and get some momentum.

Man of the Match Deepak Hooda for his all-round show: I have improved my batting over the last two years since the U-19 World Cup. My role was to play aggressive shots in the pre-IPL camp. Ajinkya bhai was supporting me very well and asked me to play naturally and said that we would win like that.

Hemant Tiwari: "Duminy, should have bowled in this pitch which suited slower bowler, perhaps he is feeling the pressure of captaincy."

Sai Kiran: "DD is being like SA, now. Hard luck though they are trying very hard. Come on DD. We are with you. Go hard(your hardest) for your next game."

That's it from the first match of the game, Mumbai take on Kings XI for the 8pm match at Wankhede. Will that go to the last over too? Find out in some time while I, Vishal D, get out of here. Ciao!
