Many thanks for your company and comments. It was physically impossible to post them all, but do keep sending them. Andrew Fernando has fired in his report. And thanks, Thilak. This is Deivarayan Muthu off to sip a cool drink of my own.
George Bailey, Kings XI Punjab captain and Man of the Match: It got a little hairy there at the end. T20, that is what happens. I was happy with the bowling and we deserved to win as our bowling was outstanding, not to take anything away from Bhajji, though . We made an error in judgement - me and Davey - last game [on the demotion]. It is a beautiful wicket. It is a long race and we have to be consistent. Oh, no no [responding to the question whether Bhajji could have pulled that off]. He is a beautiful striker. It is a tight schedule and I will have a cool drink.
Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians captain: They [Suchith and Harbhajan] played really well. I thought we lost it in the first six overs. We lost too many wickets. We can learn a lot from Bhajji and Suchith. They bowled steady, they stuck to their plan. Nothing extraordinary. We played some stupid shots in the chase. We have some work to be done. Credit to Kings XI Punjab for winning this game. I think the bowlers did a pretty good job in the end, Suyal bowled well at the death. Malinga, as always, did the job for us. We need to see what we can do as a bowling unit. We feel we can use Malinga in the middle. Their middle order is strong with Maxwell, Miller and Bailey coming in. You always want your best bowler to bowl to the best batsmen.
Gaurav: "And Harbhajan Singh is J. Suchith's maiden wicket in his only List A Match so far."
Bhajji sports a smile and shakes hands with the Punjab players. Nice camaraderie. Two losses in two games for Mumbai Indians. Their top order was dismantled early in the chase as they subsided to 46 for 5 inside 12 overs. Pollard followed soon, after which Bhajji and Suchith swung their bats around to lend some respectability to the chase and reduce the margin of defeat. The game, though, was virtually sewn up after Mumbai's top order was blown away.
Mithun Chakrava: "Bhaji bowled 24 balls and taken 2 wickets for 20 runs. And faced 24 balls and hit 6 sixer and 5 fours "
But not enough.. They were left to do too much on their own.
chaithanya: "did harbhajan and suchith scored a 36 ball century together. Amazing!!"
Idrees: "Thanks to Bhajji Mumbia's Net run rate will not be severely dented"
Kings XI fan: "This Suchith got pedegree. Was amazed to see his skills as a bowler. Bowler with a perfect action. And a more than a handy lower-order batsman. May be the find of this IPL"
