This is just the third ten-wicket victory in the IPL's history. And the second biggest victory in terms of balls to spare at the end. That pretty much sums it up. Only one team turned up today, and the new-look Rajasthan side was unable to reverse their fortunes. More crucially, two of their overseas replacements - Damien Martyn and Michael Lumb - looked in all kinds of trouble against the inspired home-team. Steyn, Vinay Kumar, Kallis and Praveen bowled to a plan, keeping it short of a length almost right through the innings. Yusuf Pathan and co. had no answers, and eventually fell as the pressure to score mounted. Bangalore had absolutely no trouble in chasing down the target of 93. Kallis was solid, Pandey was aggressive, and the only worry for Bangalore will be the fact that Morgan, Dravid and Boucher haven't had any significant time in the centre. Game, set and match to Bangalore.
That's it then. On behalf of Venkat Raghav and the rest of the team, this is Nitin Sundar signing off for today. Cheers!
Some solace then for Rajasthan, they've stretched it past 10 overs.
